Experience and professional background
After 25 years in international corporations, I found myself on the edge of burnout and chose to change my life.
My connection with animals, especially my mare Askaja, helped me find my way back to myself. I became licensed to facilitate Equine Assisted Learning through the Building Block™ method.
I became the first licensed EAL facilitator in continental Europe.

What is experiential learning with horses?
EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) is an experiential learning method in which horses become partners in developing life skills. Bridle Up Your Life takes place on the ground, without riding. Through practical tasks and contact with a horse, we observe our communication patterns, practise clear leadership without force, set healthy boundaries and explore confidence, body language and emotional responses.
Horses respond directly to our behaviour. Their responses become a starting point for reflecting on how we enter relationships, cooperate and express our intentions. Guided attention to the body, breathing and presence is part of the experience. Respectful partnership and the horse’s wellbeing come first.
Who are the workshops for?
Children aged 9–13 and teenagers aged 14–18: to explore confidence, responsibility, emotions and cooperation in a group.
Adults: for reflection during life transitions and for exploring communication, leadership, personal boundaries and responses to challenging situations.
Couples: for a shared experience of communication, trust and cooperation through practical challenges.
Teams and companies: to observe group dynamics, cooperation and leadership based on clarity and trust. Tasks are adapted to the group and its goals.
How does a session work?
We begin by introducing the ranch, safety and the horses, and agreeing on a goal. Practical ground-based tasks follow, such as leading a horse, working within constraints or taking on group challenges. We finish with reflection and connect the experience to everyday life.
Workshops take place outdoors at Učni ranč Bohinj, individually or in groups of up to eight people. No previous horse experience is needed. The introductory meeting lasts 75 minutes; activities are adapted to the participants, conditions and horses’ responses.
Choose your path
Introduction — a 75-minute first encounter with the method: body awareness, ground-based work with a horse and reflection on the experience.
Rastem / Growing — four guided sessions, a short body-awareness module and written reflective feedback. Time to connect experiences and practise new responses in everyday life.
Poglobljeno / In Depth — eight sessions, a sustained learning process, a learning journal, a special experience with Askaja and video reflection. More time for insights, authenticity and relationships.
What should you bring?
Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and closed shoes. Experience with horses is not required; openness, presence and curiosity are welcome.
